When our bodies are exposed to the sun they procedure extra pigment in order to protect us from radiation, this extra pigment is called melanin. These spots tend to appear at a similar time as other common aging signs due to prolonged exposure.
During the procedure, no topical numbing or anesthesia is required. This treatment is designed to be comfortable and pleasant. A practitioner will apply a cold plate to the treatment areas for about 15 to 20 seconds per area. There is no downtime after treatment, and you can immediately return to work and regular activities. The treatment can also be applied at any time of the year, unlike some laser treatments.
Glacial Rx is a safe treatment that is FDA-approved. Because this is a non-surgical treatment, there are very few potential side effects.
