You can expect swelling, which peaks at about the third day. Wear the compression bandages as prescribed. Incisions within your mouth will require you to eat only a liquid diet for a week or so. Dr. Ching will be meeting with you several times in follow-up appointments, and he or one of his caring team are always available to speak with you if you have questions or concerns.
