An International Approach to Plastic Surgery

model-8

Plastic surgery is a field in which new technology is constantly being adapted for the benefit of patients. At Asia Pacific Plastic Surgery in Honolulu, Hawaii, I’ve continued to keep up with the latest innovations in cosmetic treatments. That’s something I’ve pursued throughout my training and career, including at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and especially during my residency at McMaster University, a Canadian institution highly regarded for its excellence and groundbreaking work.

The intersection between technological advances and plastic surgery occurs both in the U.S. and internationally, which is why I have pursued additional surgical training in Geneva, New York City, Toronto, Rio de Janeiro, and San Francisco, in addition to Honolulu.  To serve the needs of my Asian patients, I’ve spent time learning techniques in South Korea and Japan.  Many of these techniques are still new and not commonly done in North America.

As a plastic surgeon specializing in procedures for Asian patients, training internationally provides me the opportunity to treat patients of various racial backgrounds and different cosmetic concerns. Those experiences ultimately benefit all the patients I see in Hawaii, no matter what backgrounds they have.

If you’d like to discuss your cosmetic goals with me, request a personal consultation online, or call my office at (808) 585-8855.
