Rosacea, Sunspot Treatment

     The RejuveLux™ IPL Photofacial process treats pigmented and vascular lesions on the face, as well as the arms, chest, and other large areas. Photofacials use intense pulsed light (IPL) to clear sunspots, rosacea, telangiectasias, and other conditions, in order to improve skin tone and texture. The result is smooth, even colored skin with minimal discomfort.

     Each IPL treatment done in our Honolulu, Hawaii office takes about 45 minutes. Treatments feel a little like a rubber band being snapped on your skin; anesthesia isn't required.

After Your IPL or Photofacial Treatment

     Skin will appear flushed immediately after treatment and capillaries may be more visible. Age spots may also appear slightly darker for a few days after the first treatment. These changes will diminish gradually, however. You will see visible improvement after each treatment.

     Many people see an improvement after their first IPL treatment.

     Avoid tanning before and after Photorejuvenation treatments as tanning will enhance uneven skin color.
