The medical process for hair replacment involves the transplanting of hairs and follicles from one area of the head to another. Hair follicles are found in good supply in virtually all men, even men with advanced baldness. These lifelong hairs are concentrated in an area at the back and sides of the head. During the hair transplant procedure, we take excess hairs - follicles and all - from this plentiful area and relocate them to areas of thinning and balding on the top or front of the head. Grafts are placed one at a time in the thinning and balding areas. This procedure is done in a manner that results in natural-looking hairlines and density of hair.
