Otoplasty Surgery (Ear Pinning) | Honolulu, Hawaii
Otoplasty surgery is commonly referred
to as ear pinning or tucking. It's a procedure to correct prominent
ears. A small incision is made in the crease behind the ear. The
cartilage of the ear is then reshaped and held in a new position
using fine stitches. There is a small amount of bruising or swelling.
Typically, though, eye glasses or sunglasses can be worn after 7
- 10 days. The procedure is a safe, relatively easy one.
