      Liposuction - also called Liposculpture or Lipo - is a procedure to remove localized fat deposits in the neck, arms, abdomen, hips, love handles, thighs or knees. It's not a method of weight loss. It is rather a way to recontour or sculpt your body. Small incisions are used to inject saline (salt water) and a mixture of local anesthetic and adrenalin. This is called tumescent liposuction. The entire procedure is done in our Honolulu, Hawaii facilities.

     Tumescent liposuction results in very little bleeding or bruising during the surgery. It also allows the fat to be removed more evenly and safely from your body. Fat is then gently removed using suction equipment to minimize trauma to your skin and muscles. As long as a person's diet and exercise level remains stable, fat should not return to the areas it was removed from.
